Erdogan repeats the threat to Greece

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has repeated the warning that his country could react overnight to alleged Greek threats.

Asked about the earlier use of the threatening phrase and the possibility of military action against the neighboring state, which is also part of NATO, Erdogan did not rule out the possibility.

Ankara has said that Greece is violating international agreements by militarizing islands near the Turkish Aegean coast.

Turkey has also accused Greece of violating its airspace during NATO exercises in the eastern Mediterranean.

Athens has also accused Ankara of violating its airspace.
