Elon Musk sparks speculation with gesture during speech

The world's richest man, Elon Musk, sparked online speculation when he twice made a gesture on President Donald Trump's inauguration day.

Speaking at a rally in Washington hours after Trump was sworn in as president, Musk thanked the crowd by placing his hand on his heart before extending it and holding it face down.

"I just want to thank you for making this possible - thank you," Musk told the audience, regarding their support for Trump.

The billionaire, who owns the giants "Tesla", "SpaceX" and "X", has been a supporter of Trump throughout the campaign.

Commenting on Musk's gesture, CNN analyst Erin Burnett compared the salute to Adolf Hitler's famous one. Many on the network have called it a Nazi movement that is banned in many European countries.
