The head of the Iranian delegation paid tribute to some of the earliest and newest victims of the war as he boarded his flight to Pakistan.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf shared a photo from an airplane, where pictures of four children killed in an attack on an Iranian school were placed on a row of seats.
Bloody bags and a white rose were also placed below the photographs.
Qalibaf wrote alongside the image: "My friends on this flight."
At least 168 people, most of them children, were killed in the attack on the Minab school in Iran on the first day of the war.
