Egyptian authorities captured the shark that killed a Russian tourist days ago, for research purposes.
Only the head, upper body and arms of the 23-year-old victim, named Vladimir, were found in the tiger shark's belly, Blick media reported.
After the attack, the shark did not flee the "scene", but stayed close to the shore, enabling net teams to capture it. The published footage was horrifying, until the witnesses told what they saw.
"When I got to the man, the water was full of blood. I saw that it had no wings and then I saw the shark. I immediately understood that he could not be saved", declared Mohamed H, who was the first person to go to the water in order to help the 23-year-old victim.

Vladimir's parent said that everything happened quickly.
"Everything happened quickly, literally a total of 20 seconds," he said, as he confessed that he had bought his son an apartment in Egypt to avoid going to war in Ukraine.
