The teenager suspected of killing a peer and injuring two others in Finland on Tuesday was bullied, Finnish police said.
The 12-year-old boy was arrested not far from his school in Vantaa, an hour after he fired a gun at three students, the BBC reported.
The three victims were also 12 years old.
The two injured girls continue to be treated in the hospital. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo has confirmed for TIME on Tuesday that one of them is from Kosovo.
Public buildings in Finland lowered their flags to half-mast on Wednesday in honor of the victims.

Police have announced in a statement that the suspect was transferred earlier this year to the Viertola school in Vantaa, north of the capital Helsinki.
According to them, the suspect told them that he was bullied.
The police have launched an investigation into murder and attempted murder. However, due to his age, the suspect cannot be held responsible and has been referred to social care services.
The police also announced that the suspect threatened the students on their way to the Siltamaki area.
According to the Finnish channel MTV Uutiset, the boy was wearing a mask and headphones to eliminate the noise while he was carrying out the attack at the Viertola school.

The school reopened on Wednesday, but Katri Kalske, deputy mayor of Vantaa municipality, said that she will end the lesson earlier than usual. The school has 800 students between the ages of 7 and 16.
