The President of the USA, Joe Biden, has condemned Israel's attack on the staff of the World Central Kitchen on Monday in Gaza, during which seven humanitarian workers were killed, "BBC" reports.
Biden said he was "angry and heartbroken" while accusing Israel of not doing enough to protect humanitarian workers.
Israel has promised an independent investigation after citizens of the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Poland died in the attack.
Israel's president, Isaac Herzog, has apologized for the deaths.
Seven victims, who worked for the World Central Kitchen, lost their lives after their convoy was attacked from the air on Monday.
