A hotbed of coronavirus erupted at a wedding, which has become a case study, as it is hoped it could help identify Jordan's patient zero.
76 guests out of 360 who were present at the festive ceremony were infected by the bride's father, who had been in Spain a few days before.
It all started on March 13, the day the wedding took place. Of the people who were infected at the wedding, one died. The case in question was published in the American magazine "Centers for Disease Control and Prevention USA", reports BW.
The bride's father showed the first symptoms of high fever, cough and breathing difficulties two days after the wedding. On March 15, he went to the emergency room, where the swab was positive. Within a month, 85 other people, directly or indirectly related to the wedding, were infected with the same fate, where half of them were asymptomatic, while two were in serious condition.

This caused an 80-year-old woman, also affected by cancer, to die two weeks later.
The researchers of the Jordan University of Science and Technology are analyzing the case and the condition of the guests, since one month after attending the wedding, the guests accounted for 24% of the cases with Covid-19, throughout Jordan.
