A plane was moved from its position inside an airport in Texas on Tuesday as a result of strong winds that hit the region.

The published images show the American Airlines plane moving, while the door was open, its wing was about to hit the bridge for passengers, the BBC reports.

"American Airlines" has said in a statement that some of its planes were affected by bad weather, but without consequences for people.

On Thursday, more than 275,000 homes and businesses in Texas, Kentucky and other US states were without power as storms continued to batter the region.
