The Kremlin has said on Thursday that the delivery of long-range ballistic missiles by the US to Ukraine will not change the situation of the war.

Instead, according to the Kremlin, it will cause more problems for Ukraine itself, Reuters reports.

The US has secretly sent long-range missiles to Ukraine in recent weeks, and they have since been used twice, a US official said on Wednesday.

The Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), which have a range of up to 300 km, were used for the first time on April 17 against an airfield in Crimea, which was about 165 km from the throne lines in Ukraine, officials said. .

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the US is directly involved in this conflict.

"This will not change the outcome of our military operation. We will achieve our goals. But this will cause more problems for Ukraine," said Peskov.
