The driver hits 17 pedestrians with a car in Poland

In the center of Szczecin in Poland, a driver crashed his car into a group of pedestrians and then left the scene of the accident.

"A speeding car hit a group of people crossing the pedestrian crossing," Tomasz Kubiak, representative of the Szczecin State Fire Service, told Polish TVN24.

17 people were injured in the accident, while two of them are in critical condition.

The author left the scene, but after some time he was arrested, according to TVN23.

It has been confirmed that he is a 33-year-old man.

Kubiak added that the suspect hit four other cars while leaving the scene.
