Russian-installed authorities in Zaporizhzhia said eight people, including two children, died after Ukrainian forces bombed residential areas late Friday in Tokmak, a town in the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine's southern region.

13 residents were hospitalized, Yevgeny Balitksy, head of the Zaporizhzhia region installed by Russia, wrote on Telegram.

Ukraine has not commented on Russia's claims about the attack.
