Russia shows the map with Ukraine inside it

Descriptive Text

The former Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev, has published a map where, apart from Kiev, the territory of Ukraine appears under the Russian color, alluding to its occupation. The former ambassador of the United States of America, Michael McFaul, reacted to this, saying that this is what Russia is aiming for.

He wrote that this map shown by Medvedev "explains that the disarmament of Ukraine does not lead to peace".

"Look at Medvedev's map and then explain to me how the disarmament of Ukraine will lead to peace. For me it's the opposite. "Less arms for Ukraine means more killing of Ukrainians, while Putin tries to occupy these Ukrainian lands," wrote X McFaul on the social network.

The former US ambassador to Russia has added how it is possible for the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to negotiate with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, when Medvedev, now the vice president of the Russian Security Council, shows the map of a part of Europe in this way.
