Vucic leads Belgrade to new elections after accusations of manipulation

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, decided on Saturday that Belgrade will go to new elections after numerous accusations of vote manipulation.

Vucic's party, SNS, won the December elections in Belgrade. But the process has been criticized for many irregularities by Western organizations. Germany was the loudest in this regard.

The opposition in Serbia held protests after the election, demanding new elections in Belgrade, as they were convinced they were rigged.

Vuçiqi confirmed that there will be new elections in Belgrade during the meeting of the party leadership. The date will be set later.

The elections in Serbia were convincingly won by Vučić's party.
