Descriptive Text

At least 17 civilians were killed and dozens more wounded in Gaza as a result of Israeli army attacks on Saturday, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The airstrikes targeted three residential areas in Deir al-Balah and Jabalia in Gaza.

Fifteen of those killed were in two houses east of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. These houses were targeted by two Israeli warplanes.

Two others were reported killed in the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.

"The targeted houses were housing 70 displaced people, as a result of Israel's continuous aggression," WAFA reported.

Several killed, among them women and children by the attacks in Gaza on Friday

Several people have been killed, including women and children, in attacks in central Gaza on Friday.

The bodies of the victims and the wounded have been taken to Al Asqa Hospital in Deir al Balah, following the attacks on Friday night, AP reported.

Friday's attacks come a day after an attack on aid trucks in Gaza City on Thursday killed at least 115 Palestinians and wounded more than 750, according to health officials.

Hamas, which rules Gaza, has accused Israel of firing on civilians, but Israel has said most of the people died in the stampede after its troops fired into the air.

The death toll in Gaza has reached over 30,000 since fighting between Hamas and Israel began on October 7.
