The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja, Lumturije Vuçetaj, in an interview for "Oath for Justice", said that being a woman at the head of a justice institution in Kosovo is both an honor and a double responsibility, emphasizing that she aims to be an example for girls and women who aim for a career in the prosecutorial system.
"Initially, as a woman, I wanted to be a model for our girls and women who want to join the ranks tomorrow, to achieve a career in the Prosecutorial System that is not impossible and that is challenging. Of course, a different opinion is often not accepted in our society. However, at no time is it impossible. I consider that my results, which are tangible, reflected, and clear, show that even a female Chief Prosecutor can perform the task better than a male Chief Prosecutor," she said.
