Another dramatic match was played between Bashkimi and Trepça in the playoff finals of the Kosovo Super League in basketball.
On Sunday night at the “Sezai Surroi” gym in Prizren, Trepça won with a narrow score of 84:80. For Trepça, it is the third victory in the final from as many matches played. The “Xehetare” need one more victory to secure the champion title. The fourth match will also be played in Prizren, on Wednesday at 19:30.
The first half was completely in Mitrovica's hands. After 20 minutes, the score was 41:31 in favor of Trepca. Bashkimi started to react in the third quarter, which they won 23:16.
In the middle of the last quarter, Bashkimi took the lead 63:62 and then 68:64. But the Prizren team's lead did not last long. The guests returned to 70:69.
A minute and a half before the end, the score was tied at 72:72. Sek Henry then scored for 75:72 in favor of Trepça. Free throws were exchanged until the end, but the Mitrovica team did not give up the lead for a giant step towards the championship title.

Kenny Hasbrouck stood out for Trepça with 22 points. Dardan Kapiti contributed with 14 points and nine rebounds.
Shanon Shorter had the best statistics for Bashkimi. He finished the game with 25 points, five rebounds and three assists. But the second half comeback was led by Jalen Riley, who finished the game with 21 points.
At the end of the match, several explosive devices were thrown onto the court. One of the thrown devices hit one of the foreign referees.
The team that scores four wins is declared champion. And Trepça is very close to winning its third consecutive title and continuing its complete dominance in Kosovo basketball. Adis Beqiragiqi's team defeated Bashkimi in the Cup final and also defeated them in three of the four regular season games. Trepça's winning streak against Bashkimi has now reached seven.
