One of the most important matches of the entire Kosovo basketball season takes place on Wednesday at 19:30 PM at the "Mizahir Isma" gym in Rahovec.
Trepça and Bashkimi face off in the Kosovo Cup final. These are the two teams that have shown the best form this season in Kosovo basketball.

Currently, the "Xehetarë" are on a 12-game winning streak in the Super League. After the 20th round, they lead the table with 37 points, three more than second-place Bashkimi.
The Cup race began with the quarterfinals. Trepça beat Golden Eagle Ylli, although they lost the first match at “Minatori”. Meanwhile, Bashkimi eliminated Peja in the quarterfinals, against whom they won both matches.
In the semifinals, Trepça had an easy time with Bora. But Bashkimi also scored two convincing victories against Sigal Prishtina.
And on Wednesday night, only one of the teams will celebrate. The gym in Rahovec is expected to be packed with spectators. 1000 tickets have been allocated for spectators in Mitrovica and those in Prizren. The two fan groups have announced massive participation.
Trepça has dominated the Cup race in recent years, just like all of Kosovo basketball. It has won the Cup four times in a row, from 2022 onwards. In total, the Mitrovica team has won this trophy eight times. Trepça won the 2022 final and last year's final against Bamsik.
The Prizren team only won the Kosovo Cup in 2001. In the meantime, it has lost eight finals.
In the Super League, Trepça and Bashkimi have met three times this season. On October 26, in the third round, Bashkimi won in Mitrovica with a score of 93:79. On December 10, in the tenth round, Trepça won in Prizren with a score of 71:64. The Mitrovica team also won the match of the 17th round, played on January 25 in “Minatori”, with a score of 90:81.
Both teams are "filled" with foreign players and quality domestic players. And the match at "Mizahir Isma" is expected to be a basketball spectacle.
