Prishtina wins only after continuing against Ylli

Only after the extension of five minutes, Sigal Prishtina won against Golden Eagle Yllit. On Sunday at the Palace of Youth in Pristina, in the presence of few spectators, the blue team won with a score of 93:89. The match was the tenth round of the Kosovo Super League in basketball.

But then the Suharekas began to approach. The end of regular time was very dramatic.

With 1:16 minutes left, Jalen Nesbitt scored two points to narrow the score to 82-79. Prishtina then lost two attacks in a row and Ylli one. 28 seconds before the end, Malcolm Armstead scored a triple for 82:82. Again Prishtina lost the ball and Ylli had the last action.

Jalen Nesbitt missed a three-pointer, but caught the ball and passed to Armstead. The representative of Kosovo was in an open position, but it was not correct. So the regular time ended 82:82.

In the extra five minutes, Prishtina showed significantly more and gained two new points.

Damiree Burns led Pristina with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Daniel Lekndreaj had 18 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Prishtina's Qua Grant finished the game with 20 points and six rebounds.

Jawachi Nzeakor added 16 points and eight rebounds.

At Ylli, Nesbitt finished the game with 22 points, ten rebounds and three assists. Armstead had 16 points, ten assists and seven rebounds. Lis Shoshi had 11 points and ten rebounds, and Quade Green scored 19 points.

Prishtina is now third with 15 points, while having played one game less. Ylli also ranks fifth with 15 points, which Peja also has in fourth place.
