Peja wins the interesting match with Pristina

Peja has won the first quarterfinal game of the Kosovo Cup in basketball.

On Wednesday night at the "Karagaçi" gym, Peja won against Sigal Pristina by three points, 74:71. The quarter-final takes place in two matches. The return match is after a week in Pristina. The result of the first match leaves the competition for a place in the semi-finals of the Kosovo Cup completely open.

The match was interesting and with a dramatic ending. Peja won the first quarter with a score of 20:16. Prishtina answered in the second quarter, which it won 23:21.

At the long break, Peja was leading by two points, 41:39.

In the third quarter, Prishtina broke away to eight points, 56:48. But the locals came within four points, 58:54. At the start of the fourth quarter, Peja took the lead 59:58 with a three-pointer by Dardan Berisha. After that, a strong game was played, but Peja did not give up the lead. 

Tristan Ikpe was the best in Peja with 23 points and six rebounds. Berisha scored 16 points, while Jacquez Yow had 10 points and seven rebounds. Amin Hot had nine points, four rebounds and five assists.

In Pristina, Josh Nzeakor stood out with 22 points and eight rebounds. Damiree Burns had nine points and ten rebounds.
