The award for the best player of the 19th round in the Kosovo Super League went to Balkan striker Almir Kryeziu.
The Football Federation of Kosovo announces the best of each round, and has selected Kryeziu for the weekend matches.
The winger was the standout performer on Sunday in Balkan's 2:1 victory over Gjilan.
The 27-year-old scored a goal and contributed an assist in the victory over the Gjilan team. For Kryeziu, the "Star of the Week" award is the second he has received this edition.
"The goal of Balkan is already known to be the champion and we are on the right track to achieve this goal, but we are also in the race for the Kosovo Cup, so we will fight in both competitions. I thank the Kosovo Football Federation for the assessment as the best of the tournament, my teammates and the coaching staff, because without them this performance of mine would have been impossible," Kryeziu said on Monday for the official FFK website.
