Kosovo and Serbia will compete in one group in 3x3 basketball at the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, the Kosovo Olympic Committee announced on Friday.
The draw was made on Friday, the same as for all other team sports.
In three-on-three basketball, the Kosovo men's team is in a group with Serbia, Turkey and Portugal. In team sports, matches between Kosovo and Serbia are not allowed. It remains to be seen whether there will be any interventions in the draw by the International Mediterranean Games Committee.
The Mediterranean Games are held in Taranto, Italy, from August 21 to September 3 of this year.
In team sports, Kosovo will also compete in handball, volleyball and football. Football is played by players up to 21 years old, while the girls will compete with the U18 team.
