Bashkimi has started the 2026/27 edition of the Kosovo Basketball Super League with a very strong victory.
Bashkimi defeated Golden Eagle Ylli on Sunday at the "Sezai Surroi" gym in Prizren with a score of 96:60.
Bashkimi started the big breakaway in the first quarter, winning with the score 27:13.
The second quarter was also won by the Prizren team, 23:13.
Bashkimi went into the first half with a 24-point lead, 50:26. The third quarter was won again by Bashkimi 30:17.
The last ten minutes were won by Ylli with a one-point lead 17:16, but without affecting the outcome of the match.
For Bashkimi, Jajuan Johnson stood out with 17 points, two rebounds and an assist, and Shannon Shorter with 16 points, one rebound and one assist.
Lejson Zeqiri also stood out with 17 points, four rebounds and one assist.
While Lis Shoshi had a good game for Ylli with six points and two rebounds.
