Bashkimi joins Trepca in the final

Bashkimi has also convincingly won the second leg of the Kosovo Cup semi-final in basketball. After winning 83:67 at “Sezai Surroi” in Prizren in the first leg, the team from Prizren won 85:69 in the second leg that was played at the “1 Tetori” gym in Prishtina.

With this victory, Bashkimi joins Trepça in the final to be played on February 18.

These two teams also played in the final in February of last year, when Trepça won the Cup trophy for the fourth time in a row.

The score after the first half was 40:36 in favor of the Union. The lead continued to deepen in the third and fourth periods.

Lejson Zeqiri, with 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists, had the best statistics for Bashkimi, while Adrio Bailey was the most outstanding for Sigal Prishtina with 27 points, nine rebounds and two assists.

Bashkimi is expected to fight with Trepça for the championship title. Trepça is first in the Super League, while Bashkimi is second.
