Union wins dramatic semi-final

Bashkimi won the first semifinal of the playoff against Bora. 

On Wednesday night at “Sezai Surroi” in Prizren, Bashkimi won against the Pristina team with the score 73:70. The match was decided only in the last few minutes. Bora had a lead of 11 points after the third quarter, 59:48.

But the locals responded in the fourth quarter for a dramatic victory by three points.

With 2 minutes and 15 seconds left, Bora had a 70:66 advantage. Shanon Shorter scored for 70:68 and then made a three-pointer for 71:70 in favor of the Union.

Bora missed several shots in a row, while Shorter scored at the very end for 73:70.

He was convincingly the best in Bashkimi with 28 points, six rebounds and two assists.
Dequon Lake had 11 points and eight rebounds.

For Bora, Jordan Dingle had 16 points and three rebounds. 

The second semifinal match will take place on Saturday in Pristina. The team that scores three wins advances to the playoff finals of the Kosovo Basketball Super League.
