Union has convincingly won the city derby against Proton Cable Prizren.
On Sunday night at "Sezai Surroi", Bashkimi won with a score of 96:62.
This was the last match of the 17th round of the Kosovo Basketball Super League.
Bashkimi won the first quarter with a score of 23:14, while in the second Prizren was ahead by two points, 18:16. Bashkimi also won the third quarter, 23:19, while they made the big break in the fourth quarter. Valon Bunjaku shone for Bashkimi with 27 points, four assists and five steals. Wendell Green had 18 points and eight assists, while Jayveous Mckinnis made a full 18 rebounds. He also added seven points. Lejson Zeqiri contributed to the victory with 17 points.
Tervell Beck had 13 points and five rebounds for Prizren. Lenzelle Smith Jr. had 15 points and 11 rebounds, but also seven turnovers. Kwame Vaughn was the most efficient with 18 points, but also with many missed shots.
Bashkimi now has 29 points, the same as Trepça, in the first two positions.
Proton Cable Prizren remains last with 21 points.
