Trepça wins the first semi-final with Pristina

Trepca has continued its dominance over Sigal Pristina. On Sunday night in a packed gym in Mitrovica, Trepça defeated Pristina in the first semi-final game of the Kosovo Super League basketball playoffs.

"Xehetatar" won with the result 87:81 to take the first step towards the final.

Trepça has won four matches with Pristina in the regular season. He also defeated him in the Super Cup, Cup and Unique League competitions. And now in the first semi-final of the playoffs.

The team that scores three wins goes to the finals. The second match will take place in Pristina next week, while in the eventual fifth match Trepça will have the advantage of the field.

The Mitrovica team was in the lead almost throughout the match.

He won the first quarter 22:19, while the second with 21:20. Even the third quarter went to Trepça, 21:16.

The fourth quarter started with the score 64:55 in favor of Trepça. Prishtina came within two points, 70:68, five minutes before the end. But Trepca broke away again and held a solid lead until the end.

Kevin Capers had the best stats in Trepca. He finished the game with 13 points, four rebounds and four assists. Mikaile Tmushiq had 12 points and seven rebounds. Darnell Edge contributed 12 points and eight assists. The most efficient was Drilon Hajri with 14 points.

In Pristina, Diamond Stone stood out again with 23 points and four rebounds. Donovan Smith had 15 points and three rebounds. Derrick Wilson had 13 points and four assists, while Donte Clark scored 10 points. The contribution of the country's players was lacking and thus the difference was made.

In the other semi-final, Peja and Golden Eagle Ylli meet. Ylli i Suhareka won the first match in Peja. The second match is in Suhareka.

Trepca has won the Supercup, the Cup and the Unique League. It is aiming for a perfect edition as far as local races are concerned.
