The German auto giant, Volkswagen, will also produce a new model from the electric ID series in 2020.
The ID.3 Hatchback model will be joined by the Crossover Crozz, which will have the name ID.4, reports Koha.net. Both models will be manufactured at the factory in Zwickau, Germany.
ID.3 and ID.4 will be the "backbone" of Volkswagen's vehicle electrification, whose goal is to produce one million electric vehicles by 2024.
Volkswagen will also produce 1.5 million electric vehicles by the middle of the next decade, and this German manufacturer has invested nearly 10 billion euros in this entire electrification project.
Also, this German giant earlier this month marked the jubilee with 250,000 units of the e-Golf sold, which will replace the ID.3.
