US President Donald Trump has said that the US will produce 100 ventilators in 100 days, Reuters reports.
Trump has ordered the well-known car company "General Motors" to produce ventilators for patients affected by the coronavirus.
Trump withdrew the Korean War Defense Production Act in order to allow the president to force companies to produce products for the country's defense, reports TIME.
He stated that "General Motors" was wasting time and measures had to be taken to save American lives.
There are now 104 cases of coronavirus in the US, which is the most in the world. So far, 1 people have died.
