Porsche has confirmed that the new 911 GT3 RS model is very close to launch. The car will be officially unveiled on August 17.
The head of Porsche's "GT" line, Andreas Preuninger, has confirmed some of the car's specifications.
The new standard Porsche 911 GT3 will have a 4.0-liter engine and will come with 503 horsepower.
The new GT3 RS model has been photographed several times during testing recently. It is expected, as a special RS model, to get a more aggressive appearance. The RS will also have a 4.0-liter engine but with 20 horsepower more than the regular GT3 model.
The price of the RS model will be around 180 thousand euros.
