One of the largest automotive centers in Europe is being built in Croatia

After 20 months since the start of construction, the 200 million euro campus of the car manufacturing company, "Rimac", is taking shape on the outskirts of the Croatian capital, Zagreb.

On Tuesday, the CEO of the Croatian company, Mate Rimac, published new photos of the campus and the offices of the future, which will be part of one of the largest research and development centers in Europe.

"The ceiling is finished, the transformer station is almost complete. Phase I of the campus should be ready by the end of this year. The first production lines will come soon. The campus space is almost 100 percent shared, so we are working on additional facilities of similar or even larger size," wrote Rimac.

The new complex, in line with the company's future ideas, is expected to contain a lot of space for innovation and research. It is expected to have rooms with virtual assistance, command centers and many design rooms. A space to customize the cars is also expected. In addition, the entire campus will be surrounded by a specially designed car test strip.

With an investment of more than 200 million euros and over 200 square meters, the Rimacut campus is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe, even beyond the automotive sector.
