German Chancellor Angela Merkel today called on the German car industry to improve its operations for its workers and for the economy as a whole.
"A lot of trust has been destroyed. "Because of this, the automotive industry must do everything to regain its trust, which is in its interest and in the interest of German workers and industry," Merkel said at the opening of the Frankfurt International Motor Show.
