A 1980 Golf with just 1187 km on the clock will be auctioned next week.
Silverstone Auction House will auction the special 1980 Mk1 Volkswagen Golf, reports KOHA.
But how did this car manage to have so few miles on it?
It was bought new in the Netherlands by a person in Great Britain, who at the time took advantage of cheap car prices in the English Channel, ordering the car through a dealer in the Netherlands, writes Autoweek.

The Brit had instructed Freddie Taub of FT Motors in Cornwall to order the Golf through a Dutch dealership and deliver it to Cornwall.
