US auto company Ford will recall more than 20 hybrid vehicles from the market due to battery concerns, Reuters reported on Thursday.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the recall involves some 2020-2024 Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair vehicles.
"A manufacturing defect in the battery could result in an internal short circuit and failure of the battery due to high voltage," the institution said.
Dealers will replace the battery pack as needed free of charge, the motor safety regulator has said.
