Ford will recall over 550 vehicles

US automaker Ford will recall more than 550 vehicles, the US safety regulator announced on Tuesday, Reuters reported.

The vehicles expected to be recalled are 150 F-2014s in the United States due to a problem that could cause the vehicle to suddenly decelerate in first gear, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

According to the regulator, the loss of signal to the speed sensor can cause a decrease in speed, regardless of the vehicle speed, and lead to loss of vehicle control.

As a solution, dealers will update the powertrain control module software free of charge.
