Drivers of BMWs, Subarus and Porsches are more likely to cause accidents, according to the study


Experts have called for further research into car marketing after analysis of UK accident data suggested that drivers of certain brands are more likely than others to cause accidents.

A study of more than 400,000 UK road accidents found that when "dangerous or aggressive manoeuvres" played a role in the accident, there was a statistically significant difference in driver fault between different brands.
