The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has welcomed the Summit for Ukraine held in Tirana.

Through a video message that was heard during the summit, Erdogan expressed his willingness to bring Ukraine and Russia back to the negotiating table.

"We are ready to bring the parties back to the negotiating table, as we did at the beginning of the war in Istanbul. I want to greet the participants in this summit, especially my friend, Prime Minister Edi Rama and all those who have contributed to the organization of this summit", Erdogan said, reported "Anadolu Agency".

Erdogan has reaffirmed Turkey's support for the independence, sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He also said that he supports the 10-point peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Despite all efforts, not enough progress has been made towards establishing peace. I continue to maintain the same position that diplomacy and dialogue should be given a chance to end the war. In this regard, we support Ukraine in the 10-point peace plan," he said.
