Zhelko Komšić: Kosovo is a state, period!

The Croatian member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Zhelko Komšić, during an interview on Duetsche Welle (in Bosnian language) on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide, after being reminded that the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has resumed in Brussels , was asked if Bosnia and Herzegovina is ready to recognize Kosovo's independence.

He said that he is ready, but the Serbian member of the Presidency, Milorad Dodik, is an obstacle.

"There is no such agreement at the level of the Presidency and this is not unknown. Mr. Dodiku strongly opposes this, although he wanted to be realistic and pragmatic - Kosovo is a state. Period. This is the end of the story. It is only expected that Belgrade should accept this fact, recognize it, and then things will be easier. Now we are witnessing the latest series of protests. The Corona pandemic was used for a kind of rebellion and it was said to be a rebellion against the imposition of curfew. After a few moments, it was clear that this had nothing to do with the pandemic, but it was about Kosovo, since all the celebrities in the filming that arrived from Belgrade talked about the fact that there is even an organized political structure, which with the story about Corona hid the goals the truth, i.e. preventing the reaching of an agreement between Belgrade and Prishtina", said Zhelko Komšić, reports Koha.net.
