Ymeri: There is no progress on reconciliation

The former chairman of the LVV, Visar Ymeri, after the end of the meeting of the Vetëvendosje Movement, where the latest situation within the organization was discussed, said that he does not expect alignment of positions between the two blocs.

"It is not that there is any progress in this direction, even though it remains to formally continue the discussions for a short time. But at least from what I saw today in the meeting, I don't see any possibility of an approximation of positions or any agreement", said Ymeri, "Koha Ditore" reports.

According to him, those problems that have been highlighted and raised in public by people who have resigned from the LVV remain today and "I did not see any will, until now at least, to reflect on them and seriously discuss cooperation and the future of the organization".

"I consider that LVV is at an extremely important stage and at this stage everyone would have to give up themselves for the good of the organization, and I think this would be the solution for the organization. But I don't know if this will happen", emphasized Ymeri.

He says that he does not know what will happen in the future, but he said that "until today, what we discussed, I did not see any movement".

Ymeri says that the discussions will continue in the following days about the problems that have been created in VV, while he emphasized that there are internal problems that have not been made public.
