The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on Wednesday night chaired the meeting of the Presidency of the Serbian Progressive Party, as he is also its leader, and after the meeting he spoke about many topics.
He also spoke about the situation in Kosovo, which he continues to call serious, while criticizing the KFOR mission for, as he said, the blockades it has put in the north between villages inhabited by Serbs.
In recent days, KFOR has increased its presence in the north after the rise of tensions on the eve of establishing reciprocity for Serbian identity cards, as announced by the Government of Kosovo.
According to Vucic, this presence and KFOR checkpoints are hindering the movement of Serbs. He said that he will also write a letter to NATO, while criticizing the mission for the joint exercises with the KSF.
"Regarding KFOR and what NATO is doing, in the next two or three days after the talks with the mediators, I will send a letter, because we interpret the role of NATO and KFOR differently. They are the ones blocking the movement. Who are you fighting against when you put up barricades between two Serbian countries where there are almost no Albanian people or vehicles. Your goal is to protect the Serbian population, why do you help the Albanians to oppress that minority, why do you practice mistreatment of the Serbs with them? Is this your job or to help the Serbs stay in their hearths? Still want to throw smoke bombs? The crisis will be resolved through political talks, we only ask you to respect the agreements that have been signed", said Vuçiqi, reports the Serbian newspaper "Novosti".
At the party meeting held, Vuçiqi said that it has been decided who will be the Prime Minister of Serbia, but he will make the decision known on Friday night or Saturday morning.
"Today I will not talk about the prime minister. He will make the decision public as the president of the country", he said.
