A group of young people have protested at Pristina Airport, where the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, is expected to arrive.
They have come out in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army convicted by the Special Court.
Their banners, in addition to "Not in my name", also read the messages "EU, you have betrayed us" and "Today Thaçi, tomorrow Zelensky."
Von der Leyen will be in Kosovo today. She will be received in a meeting by the acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, and by Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
The Special Court of First Instance sentenced Hashim Thaçi and Jakup Krasniqi to 25 years in prison each for war crimes. Kadri Veseli was sentenced to 18 years in prison, while Rexhep Selimi was sentenced to 13 years.
Since the day the verdict was announced, September 16, protests have been held in Kosovo every day to oppose the decision.
