The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, has welcomed Kosovo's engagement in the dialogue with Serbia, but says that there is still a long way to go towards admission to the European Union.
"There are many things to do to improve the situation with the rule of law and the fight against corruption", she wrote on Twitter while saying that the European Parliament has accepted her report and that it contains clear messages for Kosovo and the European Commission.
Cramon writes further that the EU wants to see the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade continue, as it is in the interest of both parties.
"Without dialogue, Kosovo has a lot to lose", said Cramon, while adding that the EU should also do "its homework and the Council should grant visa liberalization to Kosovo as soon as possible" .
