The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola Von Cramon, has welcomed the Government's decision to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the granting of properties to the Monastery of Deçan.
Von Cramon has said that the rule of law is essential for a functioning European society.
"I have constantly asked all the governments of Kosovo in the last 4-5 years to act on this as it is a necessary step regarding the rule of law in Kosovo", she wrote further on the X platform.

The Government of Kosovo has ordered the Cadastral Agency to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court to recognize Deçan Monastery's right to property in 24 hectares. Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that he took this decision to remove it as a condition for Kosovo's admission to the Council of Europe.
