The MEP Viola von Cramon has called on Serbia to immediately release the citizens of Kosovo from the Serbian border crossing points.
Hundreds of Kosovars are being held in the neutral areas of Serbia's border crossings with other countries.
Their identification documents were taken and they were left in neutral zones for more than 15 hours.
"Serbia should stop embarrassing itself and immediately release holders of Kosovo passports and identity cards to cross the Serbia-Croatia border in Batrovc. Freedom of movement must be ensured for everyone, without discrimination based on nationality", she wrote on Twitter.
