Veseli: VV and LDK are translating the delays of the Special into blackmail for dialogue

The chairman of the PDK, Kadri Veseli, has connected with the Special Court, the debate caused by the deputy of Vetëvendosje, Fatmire Mulhaxha-Kollçaku, who on Facebook shared a quote from a Serbian "analyst", who, according to the quote, said that "Albin Kurti there is no criminal file from the time of KLA". According to Veseli, the prolongation of the processes by Speciale is being translated by the VV and the LDK into blackmail for the dialogue with Serbia.

In a reaction on Facebook, Veseli said that this post by Kollçak "is a mentality that thinks that political gain, harming Albanians, gives premises for success in the imaginary political battle even after the elections".

"Deputy Kollçaku, in the quality of her political opinion, has the freedom to propagate what she wants, even though what she did was not wise. It is not simply a question of an attitude, but of a mentality that thinks that political gain, harming the Albanians, gives premises for success in the imaginary political battle even after the elections. For this type of mentality, aggressive Serbia and its perfidious policy, summed up in the image of its institutional head, Aleksandar Vucic, is more priority than the challenge that awaits us - the future of Kosovo. There are no tactical calls for the unification of position and opposition positions before Serbia, only for Albin Kurti's electoral consumption and branding with blackmail. Veseli said that he is open to meeting Kurti "on state issues", as he added "But if you really think that I am being blackmailed by the Special Court, then Albin Kurti does not need me at least as one of the founders of the KLA- of".

"We will be with you in every national position that you proclaimed before the election campaign. Even for the national flag, even for union, even for employment, even for confiscation of assets for any illegal beneficiary. But never bow to pressure, blackmail and manipulation", added Veseli.

Veseli said that in this topic, the Special Court is the biggest issue. According to him, the prolongation of the indictment process is creating space since the VV of the LDK is being "translated as blackmail for internal political issues, especially in relation to the Dialogue".

"As a former Speaker of the Assembly, I appreciate the correctness and prudence that she has shown in her political positions so far. Apologizing for mistakes is not something tragic. But even her continuing to maintain the same attitudes does not change my assessment of her. But, there is another bigger issue in this topic. Special Court. It's been a long time since it started, with excitement and anxiety. The public cauldron is boiling especially before the assumptions about the indictment of the Special Court. It is not too much to say that, in addition to dissatisfactions, there are also expectations that political actors and interest groups have built as a projection with special targets in this political war. The prolongation of this process for approximately 10 years, since the initiation of this Court, while its epilogue is not in sight, is clearly creating space for LVV and LDK to be interpreted as blackmail for internal political issues, especially in relation to the Dialogue. So, the delays of the Special Court are related to the final agreement with Serbia and the behavior of some of us, depending on this pressure", he added.
