Veseli and Haradinaj do not meet each other

Prime Minister Haradinaj and Speaker of Parliament Kadri Veseli have not met face to face, even last week they kept silent on the demands for the suspension of the tax.

Sources close to the ruling coalition have told Koha Ditore that there was no will on Veseli's part to meet with the prime minister, due to his refusal to suspend the tax for 120 days.

Since the end of January, Veseli and Haradinaj have only been seen in joint meetings with international diplomats, President Thaçi and other coalition partners, where the central topic has been the demand for the removal of the tax and dialogue with Serbia.

On the same day, when Haradinaj had set his conditions for the removal of the tax, the main one being the recognition of Kosovo's citizenship by Serbia, Veseli, after the meeting with the American ambassador, Philip Kosnett, published the proposal for the suspension of the tax, in order to dialogue with Serbia is given a chance. This happened on January 28 of this year. Veseli even warned that, if the prime minister puts the country in conflict with its strategic partners, the coalition may break. But Prime Minister Haradinaj has said that even if the Government falls and the country goes to elections, the tax will remain in force. The newspaper asked the cabinets of Haradinaj and Vesel about the lack of communication, as well as about the eventual meetings that were not made public. But no one has offered an answer...
