Two people have lost the battle with COVID-19 within the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday and showed the data that within the same period, 1 new cases of infection with the SARS-CoV virus have been confirmed. 793, which causes the pandemic. This number of positive cases in one day is the largest since the new wave of the pandemic started at the end of last month.
Within two weeks, the number of active cases of coronavirus in Kosovo has increased to over 8. Due to this increase, the National Institute of Public Health (IKSHPK) has called for mask wearing and vaccination.

According to Hajrije Ismaili, director of the Neonatology Clinic, the condition of one baby is serious.
"We currently have two babies in this last wave of the pandemic, that is, of COVID. We constantly have cases that are being accepted and treated in our clinic... We currently have a baby who is in a more serious condition. He is on respiratory assistance and remains in intensive treatment," said Ismaili.
She also told about the symptoms that appear in babies.
