Albanian Armed Forces soldiers have been in Latvia in support of NATO, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Sunday.
Through a post on Facebook, Rama said that Albanian soldiers participated in the exercise.
“Exercise OAK Resolve” in Latvia, in support of the NATO Multinational Brigade.
According to Rama, the soldiers had real tasks of destroying unexploded ordnance (UXO) and opening paths for the movement of troops.
"A commitment that increases interoperability with allied forces and strengthens the operational capacities of our units in international environments," Rama added.
