According to official data from the Statistical Agency, a total of 762,836 visitors were registered in Kosovo in 2025, of which 39.3% were domestic visitors and 60.7% were international visitors. The Tourism Union of Kosovo, announcing the data, assessed it as a positive trend in the development of the tourism sector in the country.

According to the announcement, the total number of overnight stays reached 1,653,390, marking a continuous increase compared to the previous year.

"Based on overnight stay data and an average estimate of 150 euros spent per visitor for every 24 hours of stay in Kosovo, it results that during 2025 the tourism sector has generated an estimated economic impact of around 248,008,500 euros," the Union's announcement states.

The Tourism Union has stated that the increase in the number of visitors and the economic impact of tourism should serve as an additional motive for new investments in tourism infrastructure, the international promotion of Kosovo, the development of tourism products and the improvement of the quality of services.

"Therefore, the Kosovo Tourism Union calls on the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as all relevant institutions at central and local level, to increase their commitment and support for the promotion and further development of the tourism industry, treating it as a strategic sector for the country's economic development."
