Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support Contribute“Thank you for your very kind letter. I continue to admire your courageous and decisive leadership on behalf of the people of Kosovo. We have achieved much together in a short period of time - especially our cooperation within the Peace Board. Kosovo's participation in this promising new initiative will play an extraordinary role in ending conflicts around the world, while promoting freedom and well-being for both our peoples,” the letter, dated April 8, which Osmani published on Tuesday in Facebook.
Trump also praised Osmani's role, saying that she will leave behind "an important legacy that will shape the future of the country, the Balkan region, and all of Europe." Trump described her as a trusted friend of the United States.
And Osmani thanked Trump in the publication.

"We will preserve the strong bond between Kosovo and America together, today and forever! I thank President Trump for the letter sent at the end of my mandate, which I received last night, as well as for the appreciation he has given to our work! As the President of the United States emphasizes in this letter, we look forward to continued cooperation in the years to come," she wrote.
Kosovo is part of the Peace Board, Trump's initiative to end the war in Gaza. There, Kosovo has pledged to send the Army for peace. The decision has now been authorized by the acting president, Albulena Haxhiu. The Kosovo Security Force will go to Gaza for a peace mission.
