Three KFOR soldiers wounded by gunshots

Three of the 30 injured KFOR soldiers received gunshot wounds, it was announced in the press release on Tuesday morning.

According to the announcement, 11 Italian and 19 Hungarian soldiers have received injuries from the violent protest in Zveçan.

According to the announcement, the soldiers suffered injuries and burns from incendiary devices.

"Three Hungarian soldiers were injured by the use of firearms. Their injuries are not life-threatening," the announcement states.

Today is the third day since the local Serbs started protests in the northern municipalities, Leposaviq, Zubin-Potok and Zveçan, opposing the new mayors to exercise their duties from the municipal facilities.

The media have also suffered from the violence of the hooligans. Some cars were damaged and some were even burned.

Meanwhile, a representative of one of the injured protesters said that "there were attempts to hide his injuries", but that there will be other checks.
